After verifying your email you’ll go through a simple process to select the products you want to offer. You can customise your shop’s appearance with a few clicks, and it’ll be live for your clients in no time.
We'll send over some important information via email so keep an eye out.
None! There are no upfront costs or ongoing fees to use Salon Shelf. It will forever be free to use.
When you sell products, we collect the money from your clients and then pay you your commission - there’s no risk of holding stock or managing shipping.
When a client visits your unique link to Salon Shelf, we automatically tag this client as yours so that you receive the commission on any purchases from that client.
Once a client has purchased through you, commission will also be paid on any future purchases (including subscriptions) by that client.
After setup, you can log in to your affiliate area and add payment information (e.g. PayPal).
If a client wishes to arrange a refund for a product (e.g. in the rare case it arrives damaged), we'll deal with your client so that you don't have to. They can contact us directly using details we provide in order confirmation emails for instructions.
If a product is out of stock, we'll contact the customer directly to check on how they wish to proceed. We will either suggest an alternative product or provide a full refund. In the case of a refund, your commission will also be adjusted accordingly.
Once you've set up your virtual shelf, we'll be in touch with how we can support you in marketing your store. You'll benefit from tools such as coupon/voucher codes, shareable social media assets and more so that you can focus on selling!
You'll receive a shareable link to your virtual shelf that you can send to your clients, add to your social media bio, and/or post on your website.
The link contains a code unique to you so that we know when a client has been sent our way and can ensure you receive your commission.
We also provide you with a unique coupon/voucher code that you can give to your clients as an alternative to sharing a link. This also ensures you receive commission on their purchase.
When a client uses your link or code, they'll see a message when browsing Salon Shelf letting them know that their purchase will support you.
You don’t have to worry about managing inventory or shipping. Once your client places an order through your virtual shelf, Salon Shelf takes care of processing and delivering the products directly to them.
Your affiliate dashboard lets you track every sale made through your store, including product details and the commission you’ve earned. You can monitor your progress anytime here.
You can update the products in your store at any time. If you want to add new items or remove ones that are no longer relevant to your clients, you have full control through your virtual shelf settings area.
Don't forget that clients will also have access to our full product range anyway if they choose to view all products.
You can update your virtual shelf's branding, product listings, and account details at any time through your settings area. This includes changing your business name, logo, or store description.
Your data and your clients’ information are secure with Salon Shelf. We use industry-standard encryption and secure payment gateways to protect all transactions and personal data.
Only the basic information required to fulfil client's orders will be shared with necessary third parties (e.g. shipping providers) in line with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Salon Shelf is designed for beauty professionals, especially hairstylists and freelancers. You’ll need to be a registered professional to open a store, and we verify this during sign-up.
