“Finding the right brands was time-consuming and costly, often leaving me with unused stock,” says Forsythe. “I like to be ‘brand neutral’ so I can recommend the best for each client, but stocking and selling on the spot was challenging. That’s how the idea for Salon Shelf came to life!”

With Salon Shelf, stylists can effortlessly create a custom online “virtual salon shelf” which enables them to sell a curated range of high-quality products from multiple brands. Clients can easily browse and purchase recommended products either in-salon or from the comfort of their home, while also accessing the full product range on the Salon Shelf website, ensuring stylists can meet every client’s needs. Stylists will earn an affiliate commission on each sale they make through their store or from any other purchases made by their client on the Salon Shelf website. This streamlined retail process makes personalised recommendations more accessible.

Stylists will also benefit through training courses provided by Salon Shelf. The platform tracks each sale made through its digital inventory, recognising the efforts of stylists and rewarding them with incentives designed for growth.
